Hong Kong Housing Society
Hong Kong Housing Society has been serving the public since 1948. The design brief for their new office was to reflect their mission – Create Homes, Revive Communities – to create a modern office that cultivates a sense of home and community. The upgrade and integration of technology into the office further enhances user experience and improves efficiency, such as installing a facial recognition and temperature-checking system at every office entry point.
Highlights:
A customizable graphic map on the reception wall highlights all their projects in Hong Kong while exhibiting the company’s deep roots in the community.
Warm tones and natural materials making up the office area creates a homey feeling. Breakout areas, pantry, and meeting rooms are in different shades of green, resembling the parks in housing estates as community spaces.
In the project room, a sizeable interactive screen and informal seating arrangement encourage innovation and team interaction.
Switchable glass for some of the conference rooms gives users the option of extra privacy.
