Private Investment Firm

‘Home’ office away from home – a cosy and welcoming workspace with a personal touch.

Nothing like a typical private investment firm, the style of this office takes inspiration from the industrial style, which focuses on functionality and simplicity. As the office employs less than ten staff, we wanted to design a home-like environment that focuses on staff well-being. An L-shaped display adjacent to the entrance creates the feeling of walking into a home. The long bar in the middle of the office becomes the main feature, providing a relaxing area for staff to socialise in.

The adjacent informal meeting room is like a living space for staff and visitors to meet. The black metal frame glass partitioning and charcoal carpet are embraced by the warm tone of the wooden floor, earth colour furniture, and rich wooden wall panels. Our client is an avid reader and art lover, thus we created customised bookshelves and wall spaces to display books and art collections throughout the office. The workstation partitions can be personalised to users’ privacy preferences, making the office cosier and home-like.

Highlights:

  1. Large glass partitions make the office visually more spacious and brighter with natural sunlight flowing into the interior.

  2. The long bar in the middle of the office is welcoming and encourages users to collaborate and socialise.

  3. Bookshelves and wall spaces throughout the office to display our client’s impressive book and art collection.
